Spring nail trends

Even though it's still freezing outside, the shops are full of spring clothes, a new season is dawning and it's time to think about what to tempt your clients into the salon with, to get them spring ready. We've pulled together some ideas for spring nails, based on what was trending on the runway for spring season 2018.

Cool metallics

Metallics were seen everywhere on the runways for spring. Metallics were muted rather than full on in your face, our spectacular chrome nails in gold will give a mirror gold effect for those customers who want something that's still full on but nods to the trend. For a more glittery metallic try this silver polish.

Stripes

Stripes on nails are the new big thing, but minimalism is the key here. Go for one thin horizontal stripe per hand, or per nail, across the bottom third of the nail, in a black liner. You could choose a classic peach to pair with this look, or go bold with electric blue.

French classic

The classic French manicure look was back on the catwalk and is ideal for the customer that wants a low maintenance look. This french manicure set will really deliver a professional look, and sets like a gel polish for a long-lasting finish.

Hot orange

Orange was everywhere in spring and makes a real pick me up colour for your client's nails. For a real statement, try our Tribute to Couture polish, a deep tangerine or this fluorescent orange which will really pop on your client's nails. It was all about the strong oranges for this look, both will look great with a tan - even if it does have to come from a bottle at the moment!

Embellish or perish

A big trend of spring 2018 was for embellished nails. Any colour goes here, but the bolder the better - Then use gems and crystals for a totally full-on look that will be a real talking point. All our Chroma Gel polishes go on like a polish but last like a gel. You just need two thin coats and then freeze in LED for 60 seconds or UV for two minutes and you have long-lasting, on-trend nails for spring that your client is going to love!
